Keefer Mills
Keefer Mills Bridge is located in the Liberty twp. Montour
County. The bridge spans
Chillisquaque Creek. It is on Twp. Rte 346 of 3012 near Washingtonville and east of Pa. Rte 54.
The Keefer Bridge was built in 1853 by William Butler for $498.00. The site was
near Geringer's Mill, about which little is known. Montour County records,
however list it as the Keefer Bridge, possibly after builder, George W.
