Logan Mills Covered Bridge is located near the small mountain village of Loganton, Pa. among many Amish farms.  The bridge has a very beautiful setting in farmland and rolling hills.  It is east of Tylersville, Pa. on Route 2007 in Logan Twp.  The location of the bridge is 4.7 miles west of Pa 77 in Loganton on Pa. 800, then turn left 0.4 miles to the bridge.  The bridge crosses over Big Fishing creek.  It was built in 1874 and the builder is unknown.  The truss is a Queen post and it is 64" in length.  As of this (Feb 2003) the bridge lays in a local farm field. Lycoming Supply has been contracted to reconstruct the bridge.  The bridge should be finished by the spring of 2004. The bridge has always been open to traffic and I do believe it will be again.

The following photos are of the new bridge in the last phase of construction 12 November 2003.  The bridge is 90% complete, all that remains to be done is the landscaping.  As usual Lycoming Supply has done an outstanding job in the reconstruction of the original bridge.

The project is now complete on the bridge, the following photos were taken on January 22, 2004.  The bridge is open to traffic once again and the completion is nothing less than fantastic.  Pennsylvania again shows it cares to preserve our heritage for generations to come.  Congratulations to Lycoming Supply and all concerned in this endeavor.
